SCS EOS/ESD Assessment

Is your ESD Program Working? Let us Verify it...
Traditional ESD surveys have been around for years, measuring that individual static control products are within
ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements. These surveys are helpful in setting up a new ESD program. However, they are not
keeping pace with the current demands in electronics manufacturing. The SCS EOS/ESD Assessment goes beyond the
typical survey to help you identify and address both EOS and ESD problems.
During an SCS EOS/ESD Assessment, we provide quantifiable data to allow you to make improvements to your ESD
process by sampling select areas in your facility and provide a written Assessment Report that will include
numeric findings, gaps between the program and industry standards ANSI/ESD S20.20 and IPC-A-610E, references to
best practices, and recommendations for improvements.
The SCS EOS/ESD Assessment will help identify if electrical overstress (EOS) or ESD Events are occurring in your
ESD Control Process. Tests and measurements can be performed throughout your entire process: receiving, tool
crib, automated insertion, manual insertion, final assembly, testing, QC and packaging. We use exclusive
diagnostic tools to determine if your products are exposed to potentially harmful events.
SCS Assessments Measure:
- ESD Events (Electrostatic Discharge)
- Counts the Events during a given time period
- Shows the magnitude of the event
- Will provide actual data
- Electrical Overstress (EOS)
- Ground Integrity
- And more...
